Please see below the recently released National Average Market Values (Herd Scheme) which is one of the main methods of valuing livestock at year end.
As the name suggests the values calculated involve collating input from across New Zealand market places and averaging them out for each class of livestock.
We have also uploaded historical data (in a graphical nature) to show the trends of the major livestock types and classes since 1987.
This information and commentary are of a general nature and individual circumstances could dictate that a separate course of action might be more appropriate to any particular farmer.
We can discuss the options available to you at your annual review, or if you wish, you can contact us as soon as you wish.
